Privacy notice
Last updated 31 July 2026
This notice covers truemd.institute — the TrueMD Institute event and registration site. It describes exactly what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
When you register for an event or a webclass we ask for your name and email address, and optionally your mobile number and your practice or specialty. Nothing else on this site asks you for personal information.
Our server also records the network address your request came from and your browser's user-agent string alongside your registration. We use these only to stop automated abuse of the form and to investigate a submission that failed.
Do not send us patient information. No field on this site is intended for clinical or patient data, and this is not a system designed to hold it.
Why we collect it
To confirm your registration, send you the joining details and materials for the session you signed up for, and to contact you about TrueMD Institute events. That is the whole purpose.
Who it is shared with
Your registration is stored in our own database and passed to GoHighLevel, the customer relationship platform TrueMD uses to manage contacts and send event email. It is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes requests on our behalf. We use Vercel's privacy-friendly analytics to count page views and registrations; it does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you across other websites.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration for as long as you are on our event mailing list, and remove it when you ask us to or when you unsubscribe. Abuse-prevention records are short-lived and are discarded automatically.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops event email immediately. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely.
Contact
Email athena@truemd.institute and say what you want done. We will action a deletion request without asking you to justify it.
